Dragon Curve

Dragon Curve begins with a simple initial curve called a seed. The blue dot marks the rotation point at the seed's endpoint. During each step, the entire curve is copied, rotated around the blue dot by the chosen angle, and joined to the existing curve. The copied first point becomes the next rotation point. Repeating the process produces increasingly intricate self-similar forms. Start with the default vertical line and a 90-degree turn to create the classic Heighway dragon, or experiment with your own seeds and angles.

There are two drawing modes: 'Smooth' and 'Polyline'. Smooth is the default and lets you create freehand curves by clicking and dragging. Polyline creates precise straight segments: drag from a starting point to an endpoint, then drag from the blue rotation point to continue with another connected segment. Because a polyline seed contains fewer line segments, it allows the curve to complete more iterations before reaching the segment limit. You can use multiple curves in either mode to construct your seed.
